Comments: White Herons can be pretty skittish, and as such, can be difficult to get good shots of. Saw this one on the way out of the gardens, I drove right past him, and pulled over a couple hundred feet down, and slowly walked back. I was able to get fairly close, without him getting to jumpy, and this was one of the results. Below is an enlarged crop of the above picture, showing more detail and his lunch!
