Comments: sun had just risen, so had to use a slower shutter speed to allow enough light to get the shot, this is what causes the smooth water effect, it also added the smoothing to the pylons, not quite as desired an effect as the water. it was also a very cloudy early morning, and the clouds filtered the reds, oranges, and yellows from the sunrise, and replaced them with the blues.
